Lovely townhouse/appt stay! Nice space and great location. We had a lovely dinner in the outside terrace. And the family who owns/runs the house are VERY nice and helpful. The only minor minor drawback is that the hotel next door does breakfast right over the wall. They can't see in, and you can sit outside in private for breakfast. But... more

You will not be disappointed with accommodation size, facilities, elegance. Huge garden and you have a large part to yourselves with a car space. Family very friendly and immediately helpful with any problems. The Village is small but very attractive with lots of restaurants (but like much of Tuscany not inexpensive!). It is an ideal location to go the very... more

Matteo and his family were great hosts. We loved the location of the apartment. Matteo took the time to map out some points of interest for us to see. Our stay there was absolutely wonderful. What a great way to see and stay in Tuscany. more

Matteo and his family were extremely helpful as soon as we arrived. They helped us settle in and gave us lots of information about the surrounding area and which places to visit. The accommodation was perfect, with gorgeous surroundings and well equipped. We also had use of their beautiful garden and exclusive parking inside the village in their garden. We... more

Brother and sister Matteo and Lisabetta run this charming cottage in the walled town of Monteriggioni. It has a lounge area, a kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom; much more than we needed, but the price was very reasonable and it meant we could stay in the village. Matteo and Lisabetta were the most charming hosts who tried to anticipate... more

We stayed at Monteriggioni Castello for one week in late May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay (http://www.monteriggionicastello.net/) - the De Martino family own the apartment and live across the yard in a separate house. Amelia, Matteo and Elizabetta greeted us very warmly, and had many helpful suggestions of places we should visit. The apartment couldn't have been better suited for... more

Our family stumbled across this hidden gem while visiting the castello of Monteriggioni (which is an enclosed fort) This beautiful little house is within the fort, with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The beds are to die for,we did not find anything else in Italy that was of the high standard, and good value of this place. It is also... more

We traveled though Tuscany choosing our accommodations on the spot in places we liked. When we arrived at Monteriggioni Castello we saw that this is the most perfect holiday house in Tuscany! Romantic atmosphere of the tiny medieval city, very beautiful interior, wide rooms and very friendly owners. We like to cook and there is a nice kitchen with all... more

We found Monteriggioni castello the perfect place to stay in Tuscany. Situated within the walls of Monteriggioni, the castello is a two bedroom house with the most divine beds imaginable. It is easy to get around Tuscany as it is close to Siena, Florence and some of the smaller jewels such as San Gimignano. The hosts, Matteo and Elisabetta are... more

We are so glad we stumbled across this beautiful place and the hosts! what a lovely family Matteo, Elizabeth and Mum,so friendly. The only regret, we wanted to stay! Now that we have found this beautiful place we will make sure to stay longer next time. The apartment was really lovely, a home away from home. It is in the... more
