On first coming to this Hotel i was greeted into my room by the lovely cool sensation of the Air-Conditioning - i don't know how i would have lived without it. The next thing i saw whilst in my room was a stunning view form the balcony of the lake and mountains. Note that not all rooms have this feature.... more

Firstly, it’s worth noting that this hotel can be found twice in Trip Advisor, either as the ‘Royal Hotel’ or the ‘Hotel Royal Village’. It’s actually called ‘Hotel Royal Village’ but in all the booking info and reservation info we received it was referred to as the ‘Royal Hotel’, therefore I guess most travel agents will sell it as ‘Royal... more

I have just returned from staying in the Royal Hotel Village. This is the nicest hotel i have stayed in. The staff are so friendly and helped us in everyway. We have 2 children, one 2year old and one 3 month old! We were so impressed with the way they treated the children, which made our stay really enjoyable. There... more

This hotel would be excellent in the summer, but not an awful lot to do if you don't use the pools. Restaurant staff were excellent, but it seemed that the reception staff were more fluent in german than english. Rooms very clean, although decor is a bit dated, but the view from ours was outstanding. Food good, but meat choice... more

Despite going for the last week of the season, we enjoyed our holiday here. It is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Standard rooms could do with a re-furb, and perhaps the bar area could be improved. However, the dining room and food were excellent. There was a really good choice - and the vegetables on the buffet... more

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the 'Royal' for the most part very enjoyable but spoiled by not getting enough information. No-one told us that our 2pin travel plugs needed a further adaptor to work (you can hire them from reception) & although 4 star didn't have hairdryers in the rooms (you can hire them also from... more

My first trip to Italy but definitely not my last and I would certainly return to the Royal. The food in the hotel was amazing and although we paid for half board we ended up with practically all inclusive: huge choice for breakfast, complimentary buffet lunch, tea and biscuits, wonderful evening menu AND free wine, tea, soft drinks from 10... more

We loved this hotel although air conditioning would be an improvement. The room was ok rather than exceptional. The staff were helpfull at all times and spoke reasonable english. The food was varied, of good quality and plentifull with a wide choice available at breakfast and dinner. The complementary light lunch and afternoon tea was also welcome. Although the hotel... more
