We chose this spot to stop over on the way to Cinque Terre. Great move! We were jet-lagged out and had taken the train from Genoa. It is close to the train station. What a gorgeous room and view...we got one of the garden terrace rooms. Large patio overlooking the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room. Good... more

Camogli was on our grande tour of EU and we were not disappointed. The beach was long w/ many different beach clubs for a suntan and Hotel Casmona was a VERY good pick right in the center of the action. Beach clubs are pay for use, but the charges are minimal. Make sure you read the directions on how to... more

This is not a luxury hotel…it’s definitely more of a beach hotel. If you’re ok with that, then we absolutely recommend it, especially a room with a patio. The accommodations were fine, but nothing spectacular. There was peeling paint in the bathroom, the shower was a very small tube, the hairdryer was literally a tube that was attached to the... more

Stayed in late July 2007 with my family of four, including my wife and my 19 and 21 year old sons. Right on boardwalk of small resort town that is vacation destination for beach- loving Italians. We stayed 6 nights (five full days). Major attraction is Cinque Terre. My wife's and my room had a wonderful and very large patio.... more

Stayed for 3 nights in April '07. Originally booked for two nights, but stayed another. Had to move to another room, view not as spectacular, but seaside, still good. Clean, good breakfast, accomodating staff. We took the train to the Cinque Terra villages, and avoided the hullabaloo of those very touristy, yet charming gems. I'd urge you to seriously consider... more

What a way to start a trip! Beautiful. We opted for taxis at the Genova Airport and were zoomed to within feet of the lovely stair that takes you down to the Casmona entrance. The rooms were perfect and what a view -- it was breathtaking. A quick change into swimsuits and we checked in to the Bagni beach club... more

A great hotel in an even greater location. THe previous post said it all. For a two star hotel this packs a real punch. It can not be faulted in any way. I would have to agree ask for the rooms with the verandahs but either way you will get value for money. more

Stayed at Casmona for a week March 2004 and found it to be the perfect base for exploring this part of Italy by train. Train station is a very short walk. Bank, ATM, post office and a supermarket are very close by. Spend the extra for a room with a rooftop terrace. Ours was very large with a shady tree... more
