It's true what the reports say, this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, down a dusty road and not that near the beach. And I loved it. It's quite and secluded - I had the pool to myself most mornings. The staff were really helpful and even arranged a trip for us on board a local couple's fishing boat.... more

Right out in the sticks next to a dusty road, this hotel is poor value for money.We had to chase to get our room cleaned as they just did not do it on the first day, the food was not good and there was no pizza menu. Be careful to keep count if you put any drinks on your room... more

When I booked this hotel the promise of "400 M from the beach" and the gorgeous looking pool sol it to me. In fact the beach is quite a bit more than 400 m away and the pool was dry! We booked for a week at the end of April with our two year old grandaughter. She loved the place... more

Just returned from Monastero. Feel very relaxed. Hotel was clean, very friendly and basic. Lovely underused pool area (Italians love the beach). Shower cubicles tiny but, as the averaged sized Sardinian is size 8 I can see why! Water also refreshing in shower! You NEED a car to be able to get to the restaurants and basic facilities.
