Two friends of mine and I stayed at the Flying Pig Beach Hostel for two nights in June of 2005. It was a wonderful experience! We were picked up at the Flying Pig in Amsterdam. This looked pretty cool, but we did not stay the night here. It was about a 45 minute drive to Noordwijk, but it went fast.... more
Really friendly & clean Hostel, with a great relaxed atmosphere. Really close to all the cafés & shops. Great for anyone one on a budget or travelling alone through Amsterdam more
This is probably the best hostel ever, the staff is friendly and they are travellers themself. The hostel is close to a beautiful beach and the bar is great, you meet lots of other travellers. Way to go beach. brad more
let's be honest. the flying pig is a dump. sure it has a bar and you can smoke pot, but who cares? it's full of americans trying o be cool and who have never left in weeks and its the first and only place they will be in europe. the staff are not helpful. the rooms are loud dirty and... more
We stayed at this hotel in th emiddle of summer and the place was packed. The town is not very exciting after dark.........and if you want to eat after 9pm then forget it. The staff was made up of fellow backpackers, everyone was very friendly and great to hang out with. The common area teamed with excitement 24 hours a day. Located across from beach.
