Stayed over the easter break at the Hotel de Walvisvaarder with our baby daughter. We had originally asked to have a garden suite but the hotel suggested another spot as they said perhaps the garden suites were not so baby friendly. So we ended up with a nice room but with a not so nice view of the outside bar.... more
Put simply, there wasn't anything you could fault at De Walvisvaarder. I stayed here with five girlfriends for a weekend break. The staff are very friendly and nothing seems too much hassle to them. Very friendly staff. Excellent facilities - free sauna and bikes to hire for very reasonable price! Breakfast buffet was wonderful - everything you could possible want! De Walvisvaarder is a nice hotel in the middle of the island Terschelling. We stayed here twice, both times were excellent. The hotel has some different rooms.
