I live in The Hague and know this hotel in the dunes very well, and always wanted to stay there some time and so I did.
The restaurant is well-known in the area and this place is more famous for it's restaurant than the hotel rooms..
I had booked through a Booking website but at arrival I heard that the one room with terrace on the dune side (room 8) was free and I got it without surcharge. It is rather small, about 3 x 3 meters but the terrace is large (6 x 1,5 meters and a nice place to sit in the sun in summer. The room is so small that there is no place for a chair between the desk and the bed, but I took the terrace table inside. The decor of the room is modernized but not very attractive. Bed is 2 singles pushed together. Bed a bit hard. Bathroom is OK, with a small bath, but it has a view of the dunes too. It is a quiet room, there is non next to it on one side.
It is above the restaurant and there was some noise but not too bad. The TV shows that no British...
