This hotel is very close to the Bussum-Zuid train station (litteraly opposite the station!) still very quiet. The service is good, very clean, and you can get a decent dinner in the evening. Room are small, but confortable. The big plus is the direct train connection from Amsterdam airport (approx 40 mins train ride) more

For the price you pay I think you can get a better deal. The rooms are ok and well maintained, but quite small. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. I've stayed at the Bastion in Bussum several times because it's near the Dutch office of my employers. Flying in from the UK it's very easy to get to - catch a train from Schiphol to Bussum Zuid (usually direct but you might need to change at Weesp) which takes about 30 minutes, and on arrival at Bussum just walk... more
