We had booked this as a base for a cheapish holiday in the Algarve, primarily to get some sun. Weather aside, it delivered exactly what we needed. Once you had spent the first day learning about all the funny kinks in the villa i.e. the toilet splashing the seat when it flushed, then you began to truly appreciate what amazing... more
We stayed at Prado villas for a week in April. The villa we stayed in had two double bedrooms and there was plenty of space for my family of four. The furniture is dated but villas are clean and house keepers visit twice a week. There is a television but it only has three local channels. The villas are set... more
We managed to get a 7 night stay at Prado Villas for £18 a night which represents amazing value. We were given a roomy villa, with 2 twin bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a bath). The villa is slightly dated in terms of decor but is spotlessly clean and we found the kitchen... more
Spent the last week (1 - 8 April 08) at Prado Villas. Directions from airport almost impossible to follow - it took us over 2 hours to find. Accommodation is ok - could use some refurbishing. Wanted a nice, quiet break, however due to a new house being built 50 feet from our villa with building work starting at 7.30... more
Prado Villas is situated about 2 miles from the beach. You have to cross a main road though to get to the beach side. If you have a car there are many beautiful beaches if can reach on the coast. We really enjoyed our relaxing holiday in this charming place. The villas themselves are white-washed bungalows and surrounded by green... more
We booked this holiday because it was very cheap and it rated no1 in Vilamoura on trip advisor. I knew what to expect before i got there so it wasnt a shock however if I had booked this through an agent and paid more money for it it would have been a disapointment. The complex is very basic, the villas... more
We returned today from a weeks holiday in Prado Villas. I would describe this holiday as short but sweet. The pool was great as it had sun beds, parasols and a shower. Most days there was only us and a few other people. The only downside for me was that it wasn't heated. I think that most people would prefer... more
We hired a car and drove from Faro Airport which is 25 minutes away down the N125. Our villa was ready at 11am so we were lucky and got to check in early. The complex has 18 or so individual villas. Our Villa was number 7, Villa violetta which has it's sun terrace / patio directly opposite the pool. The... more
Returned from a wk in Villamoura. We had a fantastic holiday! Stayed at the Prado Villas which was a perfect base. Yes the villas were dated but extremely clean, although our bed linen wasn't changed. Would recommend hiring a car as we drove to the Marina most nights and did not pay a penny for parking! We also drove to... more
