Stayed four nights. Fantastic room. Breakfasts excellent with a wide selection. Great to chill beside pool. Decor tasteful and reflects individuality of owners. Andre and Nicolas are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them.

Wonderful hosts, adorable place! We stayed for four nights. Besides reading and sunbathing at the chateau yard, we ate in many good restaurants in nearby villages (Nicolas & André will recommend and book them for you), went to a market, visited Château du Champ de Bataille, rode bike in the nearby countryside, rode horses at the nearby Top Ten Ranch, and just enjoyed driving around in the beautiful Normandy countryside.

I'm afraid I can't say what the surrounding area has to offer as this was only a stop over on our way to Fontevraud l'Abbaye.…
