AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This is a Pension/hotel run by possibly the most obnoxious and unpleasant hotelier i have ever encountered. we have just returned after 5 days of staying in this low grade place and would suggest to anyone going to Schladming that they shoud try to stay somewhere else.
we arrived at the hotel at noon to be told they had double booked us and that we didnt have a room that night, nor did our friend travelling with us. there was no sense that they planned to do anything about this scenario with no one taking responsibility for the mess. we stood around waiting for someone to offer a plan. all they suggested was that the town was full. we hung around for 6 hours waiting to be told that eventually there was a room for us but not our friend who had to stay in a grubby pension in another part of the town. we had no leverage to go elsewhere as it was true that all the hotels were full. the hotel... more
