“Great cheap little family run hotel”

I booked one night through Bookings, for a single room. I've been to several 4* and 5* stars hotels, but this small family run hotel in a suburb of Ingolstadt was by far the cleanest place I have been in. Spotless wooden floors, small immaculate bathroom. “Good for overnight stay near Autobahn”

We stayed here after driving 7 hours from Italy..too much construction, traffic, etc. on the autobahn...arrived late at night--after German restaurants were closed. Owner offered to give us meat and cheese for dinner. The hotel restaurant (if open) only offered the basic wurst/fries menu.
