Loved our three days in El Cortijo. Unlike many of the hotels around Lago de Yojoa it is right on the lake with great views and plenty of birds. Were blown away by the variety of fish and bird life visible even from a canoe. Great food and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

This is the place where you want to stay if you're had enough of the big rough cities. The rooms have an amazing lake view! If you're in a lazy day, you just can swing in the hammock and enjoy the beautiful view. The rooms are clean but mattress are not that great. There's always hot water in the bathrooms.... More
