Hi, We have just returned from a weeks stay at City Hotel in Stockerau,and this hotel has really good qualities.To start with, our rooms were spacious with a huge window overlooking a yard and roofs.We were on the third floor.The lift was fast but sometimes crowded when all our tour arrived we had to wait a while.The buffet breakfast was very good.Alot to choose from. Although our holiday brochure stated 3 course meal in the evening ,we had a surprise as we had buffet the whole week and could choose whatever we liked from a variety of dishes and salads.Lovely food.I loved the soup with tomatoes,bacon and veg. The hotel is very clean with friendly staff. A few metres down the road there is a small shopping centre with shops like Clockhouse,C&A kids etc. Next to the hotel there is also a small supermarket. On the other side, to the left of the hotel , one can walk a few paces and turn right and find a lovely garden with a pond and wooden bridge.The hotel is about 3/4 of an hour from... more
