We booked the hotel on line after reading the reviews on this site. We could not agree more with the review.We found the the accommodation to be value for money.MonteGordo is great. One long beach dotted with small cafes offering all sorts of snacks and light meals. For a very good evening meal we would recomend The Tropicana.Its not far from the casino.We found the meals to be of exellent quality and reasonabley priced. more

I stayed at Foz Atlantida last year, in a one bedroom apartment (with kitchen and living room). This is a very basic apartment but clean and with the basic facilities. I only wanted a place to sleep and cook simple stuf, while enjoying the fantastic Monte Gordo beach in Algarve! The hotel is about 100m of the beach, and 200 from the casino! Everything is in a walking distance: supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, beach, casino...you can simply park your car on the first day and you wont need it during your stay! It is the perfect spot for the ones who have low budget but want to enjoy the best of what Algarve has to offer while staying in a decent place. more
