Nice hotel, good location and a good relation price / quality. The hotel is an average 3 stars, good enough to go for a weekend or so, maybe borring if you want to book more than a week. This hotel is in a quiet area but a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The rooms are clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. The best supplied for kitchen equipment (apart from a kettle) that I've seen in a long time. Just returned from spending 12 nights at the Alba hotel, on arrival the reception staff were very helpfull. We were allocated a room on the ground floor, that unfortunatially looked out on to the street behind the hotel, a rubbish view, this side of the hotel never got the sun. We spent a "fantastic" 2 weeks in Monte Gordo, Portugal, this year, late September/early October. It was our second time to Monte Gordo, and we returned to the same Hotel/Apartment - Alba!!
