The hot springs have several connected pools with very high hot and cold waterfalls cascading into them. It is a wonder not to be missed. The complex is isolated at the end of a gravel road about 10 km from the town of Santa Rosa de Cabal. The entry fee is about US$20 per person. Changing areas and security are... More

I couldn't see past the neon lighting, secluded jacuzzi, music from speakers in the rocks, drinks served in the pool, condoms in the 'mini bar' and general sense of visiting a film set from the 70s, whether it was Jack Nicholson and the Shining or Joan Collins and the.. or a Soviet spa. The food was overcooked but underheated. The... More

We visited Termales Santa Rosa de Cabal for a few hours from Manizales. Took us about an hour to get there - the last few miles of the road were unpaved and winding through picturesque mountains, so the going was slow. We did not stay at the hotel, just visited the thermal spring area. The waterfalls that spread out like... More

And then change everything !!! Great location but the hotel has been build about 80 years ago and never updated . Food is terrible as well. Shame since the place is fantastic , especially the hot springs you can find in front as falls or very close by as hot pools .

Overall, the hotel is overpriced for what you get and the food is awful, but if you're just looking for a nice pool you're in luck. The hotel is old, grimy and needs some renovations, fast!! The rooms are terrible. We were a small group and we reserved 2 rooms. Both rooms stunk of mold and mildew and had a... More

The place is very old, in very bad condition, mostly dedicated for low income class people. The people at the door gate are very rude, they want you to pay upfront for a place that is in total decay. It is a shame that a source of thermal waters like this is the condition they want to keep it. Wouldn't... More

What you should do getting here is just relax...get into the steaming hot pool which is being fed by a vulcanic spring....buy a bottle of rum or aguardiente or a beer if preferred....and just start "being there". This is a place not to visit in a state of haste. Important is making your reservations in good time, the best rooms... More

The location is unique due to the thermal hot springs. The hotel offers privacy to pools not available at a nearby location. From Medellin, we took a nonStop bus, Flota Occidental, a 5hr luxury ride at 33,000 cop. We were adviseed intially to stay at Pereira as there were more options available. In hindsight, we could have taken a smaller... More
