pros: - it really is a unique place to stay, like being somewhere between the Three Bears and Little House on the Prairie for the night, but in no way as kitsch as that doubtless sounds. Deetjens isa very nice inn. The rooms are definitely rustic - no phones, no tv, no cell phone reception, no locks on the doors, but hey, you are in Big Sur, nestled in a grove of redwoods with a stream trickling by.
