Breathtaking in it's proximity to the incredible california coast. Wake up to waves crashing. Charming because it is simple and rustic. You feel you are with nature when you are here. Get one of the original cabins # 7-10. Views were amazing, the room was attractive, clean and comfortable (nice bed). We were there in the off-season and paid $150. Great place in the middle of nowhere. Fantastic views and cozy, comfy room. Decent breakfast and nice grounds. You will be missing a real gem if pass this one by. more

We stayed one night in cabin 10 (closest to the point). Was it pricey ?-- yes Was it worth it ?--ABSOLUTELY!!!!! As has been said before... no phone, no TV, no internet. just the crashing of the surf three hundred feet below. This is not the Hilton. It is far better. more

Bad luck, when we stayed there, there was a terrible mist and there was no views at all. Basic accomodations, but as stated. We knew what to expect. Bathroom below standard, small and uncomfortable. We found this very nice spot when going down highway 1 from SF to LA. Fantastic view. Also nice that there where no TV, no Internet and even no cell phone range! :) 150-195 bucks is a bit much, but of course the view is all worth it. more

Its odd being in a place with no internet, tv, radio or cell phone but maybe thats a good thing. We were in cabin #9 with a magical view that is not done justice from the propertys' website. We stayed in Cabin 10. The view was wonderful. The bed was beyond heaven. We left the window open and slept to the sounds of the ocean waves hitting the shore line. What a wonderful anniversary gift Lucia Lodge was. more
