An absolute treat - so peaceful so relaxing so cosy! We loved it and have rebooked for our WA later in the fall... Loads of wildlife at your door, fallow dear, muntjac, barn owls, kites and not forgetting the carp in the lake! Biggest beds ever, superb bathroom, a kitchen with everything and most important a real log-burner! This is the 'real-deal!' Bucket list log-cabin - ticked and repeat!

Oh fantastic - a bucket list lodge! Thank you, Steve, we really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and the five stars. We're so pleased you enjoyed your recent stay here and that you found it relaxing and would like to return. We hope we've got all the right elements to make it a truly relaxing, peaceful and stress-free stay, with everything you could need. And, of course, the log burner which makes all the difference to a cosy log cabin break in the winter months. We look forward to seeing you again for your return visit. Thanks again Andrew and the whole team

This was our 3rd visit to the Suffolk Escapes, each time staying in a different cabin. All of the cabins are stunning! Fitted to a very high standard with great attention to detail, equipped with everything you could possibly need, luxury bathrooms, spotlessly clean, and a wonderful welcome pack. This was our first time visiting in the winter so the log burner really came into its own, as did star gazing from the hot tub. The location is perfect for exploring Suffolk and as a photographer the landscape never fails to inspire. Andrew and the whole team are always a pleasure to deal with, communication is great and it’s obvious how hard they all work so we can relax!

We returned for what we think is our 7th visit ... this place is amazing, relaxing and perfect as a place to get away from it all! The cabin is lush, the bed is beautiful, the location perfect and the cleanliness is spot-on. Just try Suffolk Escape, and then you, too, can try to think of superlative words to describe your time!

This little gem was amazing, was booked by my fiance for my birthday and have to say it’s the best gift I have ever recieved. We both have busy stressful lives and to get away and relax this is the best place for it. The place is spotless, coming from someone with ocd this made me relax even more. Log fire with wood supplied, everything you need to cook and bake with. Bathroom is beautiful and the hot tub was my favourite. Honestly, it was so nice to go away and have nothing to worry about. No corners were cut building these cabin lodges, I hope guests continue to take care of it as I have never stayed anywhere as good as this place. We took some fake battery operated candles to have that extra cosey feel. Beautiful furniture, bed was so comfortable, loved the sofas and blankets was nice to get cosey and just forget how busy life can be. Currently sat at home wishing we didn’t have to leave so soon. I’m counting down the days until we can visit again! The only thing I would say is the internet does cut out a certain times that’s would be the only thing I could say, but I just got spotted my phone. Other than that it’s perfect. Thank you so much and for the breakfast supplies :)

Out 12th visit to this wonderful place and as always it was perfect. Walks in the Countryside, relaxing by the roaring log fire and sat in the hot tub under the stars at night - what more could you want. Even heavy rain couldn't dampen the break away and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The week flew by and we're now already looking at booking visit no.13....see you soon Kersey cabin.

The accommodation was second to none with beds so large you could both stretch without kicking each other. The kitchen was well equipped and Mark the chef who worked with Suffolk escapes whom we used was excellent. A truly relaxing weekend.

We keep returning, that says it all. We love Sheepyard Barn! It’s a fabulous place for a group to chill out and relax. The barn is spacious, luxurious, well equipped and with a pool, hot tub and walks on the doorstep, what more could you need? The owner, Andrew and all his staff (Jess plus the amazing cleaning crew) go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and keep the place impeccable. We can recommend without hesitation and hope to have the privilege of visiting again!
