The party I was with stayed here for 2 night. I thought the rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower worked great (unlike most I encountered). We lounged by the pool to excape the heat of the day. I don't think the location was ideal, there is practically no town to speak of, though there are a few good restuarants... more

I stayed in the Best Western Maya Palenque Hotel for 3 nights with my friends. We booked via the Best Western website and we got a great deal for a suite where 4 people stayed. The room was clean, with correct standard, with A/C , Cable TV and phone. The service was ok. The recepcionist help us to get some... more

Stayed here for two nights. Hotel is not at best western standard at all. Staff was downright unfriendly and hostile even. I speak spanish fluently and tried to be nice to them, all I got was frowns and answers in English. If they are tired of tourists, they should not work at a hotel. We got screwed on the conversion... more

The hotel is fairly centrally located. Within walking distance of the down town area. Plain room with poor service. I could not even get a local telephone directory. There were restaurants closeby. The pool was good. Try the hammock store as you walk towards the Centro. You will find it on yr right about a few yards before the road... more

The rooms are clean, the TV works, the air is either on or off no temperature contol. The pool a little dirty. The patio furniture plastic and cheap. The front office not friendly or helpful. Took a day trip to Bonampak and Yaxchilan. The tour companies more transportation and direction. Not a standard tour with guides and explanations. We loved... more

In April 2007, I spent two nights at this hotel and, on the whole, it was a very disappointing experience. 1) We arrived and were told that there were "package deals" available for US$80 including breakfast. I asked twice to make sure breakfast was included. The next morning, it was not included anymore and it was overpriced. When asked, the... more

Best Western quality hotel, with nice pool behind it. Good location: on the traffic circle (glorieta) where MEX HWY 199 meets the road into town and the road to the ruins. We stayed here 3/24/07 for $63 USD + tax booked on Best Western website. Total was $73.71 with the 17% tax. Was converted to Pesos, and my charge card... more

It is not a luxury hotel but got all the accomodation necessary when you go to Palenque. The staff is nice, the room are simple but clean there is a big swimming pool (for kids too), internet is free... the only thing should be the isolation (as the other hotel in Palenque , they add the air conditionning but now... more

We stayed here 5 nights. The hotel was very clean and has a nice tropical atmosphere. There is a large swimming pool and plenty of parking. The friendly front desk people arranged our day trip to Bonampak and Yaxchilan. We would stay here again. more
