The grounds are beautiful. I felt as if I was in another world hiding out from the world. The service is amazing...I went there with a group of friends and rented three cabanas. These cabanas are set on a nice peice of property very close to the ruins. The cabanas are cute, but they are not the cleanest I have ever seen (pretty slimy shower). Absolutely perfect place to stay in Palenque. 6km down the road from the ruins, a rural setting in a rubber plantation with flocks of wild parrots and brown jays in the trees, hummingbirds in the gardens, a domesticated deer, rabbits, geese and a parrot wandering around the grounds.
