“Unsafe - we were robbed in the middle of the night! Avoid at all costs!”

The Golden Glow Motel left us with anything but a Golden Glow. It's dated, overpriced, not particularly clean and worst of all unsafe. Our room was broken into in the middle of the night. This motel was disgusting it had no hot water, the bedding stank of cigarette smoke in a NON SMOKING room and there was no air-conditioner on a freezing cold night no breakfast and no iron or ironing board. “A safe place to stay the night.”

Didn't have any problems here. I know previous reviews seemed to have bed bugs but not when we stayed. The mattress and bed both have covers on to prevent bed bugs so they have dealt with any problems that they might have had. As with all the hotels in coffs harbor on the main road there was some traffic noise... More

“Don't stay there!”

Have you heard of the saying 'don't let the bed bugs bite'? This motel was infested with bed bugs. We were mawled throughout the night and into the morning. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. I won't go in to the dirty crockery either, I think the bugs say it all. Stay away people, be warned!
