Stayed four nights at the beginning of May on a trip around New Zealand and Australia. Found the owners very nice and accommodating and the property okay. However is very noisy as close to airport and busy main road, very good balcony for watching planes come ino land if your in to that sort of thing. Convenient location for getting... more

The "free airport pickup" cost me $18. because nobody was available to provide the ride from the airport which I was promised. The residence is Located on the very busy Princess Highway in an area of very old industrial buildings which is one step up from a junkyard. I stayed at the Old Rectory for one night on my way to New Zealand. April 6th/7th The place is nice but too noisy due to the Princess Hway just at the corner... Room was simple but clean and the ensuite shower a little tired on the edges but functional. The not-so-good part was breakfast.....As I woke up early on... more
