Official Description (provided by the hotel):: A beautifully restored Victorian Terrace House, full of original features. We are able to accommodate 1,2 or 3 people. You will have a suite consisting of a double room with a double bed, a single Bed-sitter/lounge room with a separate bathroom and your own balcony. Hotel standard linen and towels, Free Wifi, Refrigerator, TV and DVD player, Microwave, toaster, coffee and tea making facilities. We provide a selection of breakfast cereals, coffee and tea,a complimentary bottle of Australian Wine. Crockery and cutlery, Use of laundry and fully equipped kitchen. A fully cooked breakfast is available at an extra $20:00 per person if booked in advance. Ideal for people on short term work assignments to Syd. University or Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, five minutes walk away. You are welcome to share the rest of the house and gardens. Awesome bistro across the road at The Carlisle-Castle pub, which is a very quiet neighbourhood bar, and King St' with its regular buses and trains to the CBD (downtown area of Sydney) and The Opera House and Harbour Bridge, a short walk across the park. Famous for its cafes, bars, etc - One of the Great Eat Streets of Sydney. Tariff is a guide and can be negotiated.We offer an airport pick up service for an extra fee if required. We offer a complimentary walking orientation tour of Newtown and the immediate environment if desired.Ardmore House is Eco Friendly ,Our light bulbs are all energy efficiant our water supply is energy regulated. We stayed at Ardmore house 4night 5days. It was so comfortable as if my house. Because Declan and Peter and Klebere were amazing. So kind. It was first time to visit in Australia for us. We stayed at Ardmore House for 4 nights and could not have been made to feel more welcome. The house is beautiful and our room(s) with balcony were lovely. Was able to come back again to Ardmore House in Sept. 2012, after having been there for the first time in August 2010 (see previous review).
