Came to Sydney exactly 2 years ago & stayed in the Radisson, which was lovely, but when we visited the Rocks, which we did often & saw this hotel, we said then that if we ever came back we'd stay there! So we did! And did not regret it at all. The location is superb, right in the Rocks area,... more

Booked a MYSTERY/SECRET hotel in the Rocks on Wotif (4 star) for $123 as we were arriving in Sydney late at night and were initially disappointed it was the Old Holiday Inn. Our subsequent nights were booked into the more expensive and supposedly better located waterfront Sebel Pier One at $270 per night. After staying in both, we unanimously agreed... more

visited in September as part of a 6 week holiday. Hotel location already known to us but not the actual hotel. The location was brilliant. We had a quiet room at the rear of the hotel but the views from the corridoor in front were fantastic. The pool on the roof was superb even if I did have to duck... more

Excellent location in the historical Rocks area for easy walking to the bridge, opera house, ferries, botanical gardens and museum of contemporary art, plus the rocks area itself. The rooms are big with arm chairs and a table but our bathroom was showing signs of wear, allthough the hotel had apologised in advance and said all rooms were being refurbished.... more

Where better to base yourself when in Sydney than "The Rocks"! The hotel is great, well appointed, clean and the staff friendly, helpful and courteous and the rooms, while seeming to vary a little in size (probably due to the era and previous uses of the buildings) were more than adequate. We stayed on the top (8th) floor. The hotel... more

I stayed here for 1night and overall was a great experience. The room was clean and tidy and very quiet. The location is great with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge just accross the road. The staff were also very helpful and stored my luggage in a secure area for free. The cooked breakfast was very good with a large... more

This is our second stay in two year and we were not disappointed. Refurbished bathrooms are nice. Room clean, bed very comfortable. Received discounted breakfast vouchers - breakfast was delicious, especially the cooked to order eggs and the coffee machine!!! Location is perfect! Booked this time as a "mystery hotel" through Last Minute - great price! more

We stayed for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon and the location couldn't have been better, only 5 minutes walk from Circular Quay. The staff on reception were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the 6th floor and was a good size with an amazing view of the harbour and the opera house. The room was clean... more

We got a fantastic deal on a Harbour view suite at this hotel through the Intercontinental Website (Holiday Inn is part of this chain). It is excellently located in The Rocks in walking distance from Circular Quay, which has convenient transport to/from the airport. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious and nice, but not... more
