Just needed a night in Sydney before an early morning flight so easy decision to stay here as I have been before. I am satisfied with the Holiday Inn chain and the location of this is so close to Central Station and Darling Harbour. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. No need to complain! More

Darling Harbour is a great place to stay in Sydney. Lively and interesting. Holiday Inns can be very different around the world, this was another good clean city hotel. Downside was again check in. We didn't expect, but did hope, we might check in when we arrived two hours before stated time, however the room was not ready until much... More

I booked the Holiday Inn Darling Harbour after trying to find a reasonable hotel in Sydney in a good location for elderly parents before we took a cruise. The hotel is an older Holiday Inn and doesn't have the spaciousness and new features of some of the newer hotels, but the location is great. My parents (80'-90's) enjoyed the area... More

This hotel is in a really convenient location - on the fringe of ChinaTown and close to the CBD. The one drawback is car access which is not well thought out and in fact is a bottleneck with guests arriving and wanting to off load luggage and others leaving. That combined with shuttles offloading large numbers can be chaotic. I... More

We only stayed one night. Location excellent, short walk to almost anyway in Sydney CBD. Reception staff and conceirge very helpful and friendly. Room small, but exceptionally clean and quiet. Bathroom compact and toiletries high standard. Bed so comfortable and good selection of pillows . The pillows are labelled ie medium, soft, and extras are located in the wardrobes. We... More

Stayed there for 2 nights on our way to the Far North. The location was great! A short walk to the Harbour where there were plenty of things to do. There is a great aquarium that our son just loved. A short walk from the hotel is a monorail station that, after a short ride you are in downtown Sydney.... More

This is the second time i stayed in this hotel (mainly cos of its location and price). First time i got upgraded to a room large enough to accommodate 4 pax. This time the room was much smaller but still alright. Although the monorail is right outside (i stayed on the 4th floor), there's hardly any noise. Concierge staff was... More

A reasonably priced option when staying in central Sydney. The room was a bit dark but well furnished. The restaurant is OK . The check in staff can be under pressure at times as this is a very busy hotel. We stay here once or twice a year. It compares well with other Holiday Inn hotels. More
