Stayed here for a few days in Nov. Thought it was over-priced for what it was. Had trouble with the internet not working in our room ($29 a day for internet). We were in a corner room and there is construction on the building next door, so it was extremely noisy. For the things we did it probably would have... more

This is a place to consider if you can get a competitive rate and want to be centrally located, but I don't know that I would rush back here on a repeat trip. First all the positives - 1) Staff is very friendly and helpful; 2) The members lounge on the 21st floor has a lot of food and drinks,... more

This hotel is conveniently located to the Museum stop on the rail line which is quite convenient to get to/from the airport and is a relatively short walk to the Town Hall stop which will get you to a wider range of locations. It's also right across the street from the Anzac Memorial which is nice to look at in... more

We stayed here 3 nights. A beautiful hotel, we booked on Priceline about one year prior to our visit and upon checkin was informed we had been upgraded to executive class. Our room was on the 19th floor. We did not have enough time to fully search the hotel, and did not use either the pool or resturant. There are... more

Second time i have stayed at this hotel and each time i have not had any problems. It's a 2 min walk to the nearest rail station and bus stops. The staff were very helpful and when inquired about getting around to places they would print off timetables for buses and trains. As for the rooms they were large and... more

What can I say? Superb hotel. We were upgraded to a city facing room which was lovely on the 17th floor. Quick & simple check-in with the friendly receptionist who informed us of where everything was in the area & explained how to get to all the attractions. Room was excellent ~ spotless & very spacious. Bath was huge, more... more

I've stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times previously, and have always really enjoyed my stay. This time was for over 3 weeks. The staff are attentive and friendly, but never intrusive. In particular the regular waiters at breakfast (I wish I could remember their names) made each morning a pleasure. Rooms are well appointed, and the gym and... more

From the minute I checked in to departure, I was thoroughly pleased with the services of the Sydney Marriott Hotel. Located around the corner from Oxford Street, and easy to get to other areas of the city - I found it to be the perfect location. I arrived at 7am, after an early morning flight and had booked the hotel... more

Whereas location is fine though not brilliant and front office staff are good this property is not up to the usual standard expected of the Marriott brand by this loyal customer. The bedrooms are showing their age, staff at breakfast are more interested in each other than guests, and the public areas are cramped (the day I was there it... more

Overall, this hotel was a good price (via Priceline) and had a kitchenette, which saved us some money on meals. Room was clean and service was prompt. The only complaints are really expensive internet ($30 per night) and the location, which wasn't too convenient for visiting Sydney's attractions (Darling Harbour or Circular Quay would have been better places to stay). more
