What a disappointment The Marriott Sydney Habour at Circular Quay was! The rooms were wrong and not ready, even though I had booked and paid at least 8 months in advance. They booked the rooms in my son-in-law's name and wouldn't even put my name on my room even though I booked the rooms in my name and was expecting... more

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a round the world tour. It was th eonly large corporate hotl we stayed in in ober 5 weeks - and that is what it is - a large corporate hotel - but we booked it for the view and they wre pretty impressive (I have included a photo of the... more

Stayed in the Marriott for 7 nights at the end of August. Arrived at the hotel at 6am exhausted after an overnight flight and were delighted to find that we could check into our room early. Our room had a view of the harbour bridge and had a very comfy queen bed with loads of pillows. The housekeeping staff even... more

You can't beat the location. You really are paying for that. The indoor pool was cold to me....I don't know if it was really heated or not. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable. I sat on the windowsill and watched the sun rise over the opera house....that was great. Your view of the opera house is going to be of the... more

We are frequent marriott users and were very disappointed. The standard room was small and could have been any 4 star hotel. The worst thing was the service though. Because we were sightseeing we got back late a few nights and ate in the bar. The food took FOREVER to come and was a very limited menu and not good... more

We stayed at the Marriott for the second year running and the location is great.Just had the one night this year and left on Australia Day.Only a couple of hundred meters from the rocks and still an easy walk into the main shopping areas in Sydney. All the staff are very good especially in the spacious bar area on the... more

First of all the location is just fantastic and in all honesty that's what you're paying for because at £140 a night (without breakfast!!) the overall quality of the rooms doesn't justify it. It was mid winter in Sydney and our room was always a bit cool even with the AC set to 30C !!! and it was also disappointingly... more

We decide to stay in lesser quality hotels as we travelled round Australia so we could splurge for our last 4 nights in comfort and this Marriott didn't disappoint. It started from the moment I drove into the hotel - the vallet guys took care of the hire car and our luggage was swiftly delivered to our room within 5... more

I was here for a meeting so the hotel was not my choice, and I hadn't stayed here before. It is of a high standard and the lobby is very grand. There is a staircase to three mezanine floors of bar/restaurant/meeting/function rooms so the lobby has a very spacious feel. Check in staff were pleasant, but check out staff were... more

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our month-long trip to Australia and were very pleased with the hotel. - Room was not huge but was of sufficient size so you don't feel cramped. - We had access to the executive lounge, and the views from the lounge were absolutely fantastic. - The location of the hotel... more
