My experience didnt start well when the person on Reception (whom I later found out was the Manager!!!) continued to talk on a personal phone call as I waited to check in. Morgans used to be a place we would look forward to when taking a brief trip to Sydney. I was expecting a quality boutique hotel - given the reasonably upmarket price. On arrival i saw that the standard rooms are your average 3 star hotels - adequate but nothing nice. Upgrade to a top floor, better appointed room was available for an extra $30. When you are paying $200 already, it was worth it. Or seemed to be....... more

The worst thing about this stay was the service. The 2 men at reception were disinterested and unfriendly. When I arrived they kept talking to each other and ignored me. The website makes this property appear to be a boutique hotel, but be warned, a lot of those photos are taken in public areas. Our balcony room was nothing like these pictures.
