I recently stayed at Shangri-La hotel for romantic weekend getaway with my husband. We had such an amazing time - the views from our hotel room were amazing, and cocktails at Blu Horizon fantastic. The shangri-la is exquisitely placed in terms of views of sydney harbour and opera house. Knowing this, I think they probably pay less attention to service and quality of service. Views are great, location is great. Quick walk to the The Rocks, Harbour Climb, shopping, and cafes. The rooms are adequate as is the executive lounge with internet access. more
