Stayed here over the weekend as I had a function to attend. Initial check in staff were rather rude. However, I was tired and checked into my room. I asked for a smoking but this was not available even though I booked a month in advance. I was told to wait till the next day and I will be moved.... more

As a regular business traveler I have a lot of short stays in CBD hotels. Big hotels are much of a muchness so i try to pick smaller different hotels. The Establishment is very different. We had a fab stay in Establishment - I'd echo the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. Very cool decor/atmosphere, handy location, we found the service high quality. Definitely worth checking out the attached bars and restaurants, we especially loved Sushi E and Hemmesphere. Only real negative that room could be quite dark (limited natural light). What a spot!! Great spacious rooms, fantastic staff and an exciting location. All the restaurants and bars you could ask for at your front door and only a hop, skip and a jump from circular quay. No better boutique hotel in Sydney and a real friendly vibe. You'll love it!! more
