One of the oldest buildings in Sydney with an interesting history.Great position in the Rocks, walking distance to everything. Modern furnishings, very comfortable bed. Our room was small but was clean and had everything we needed. Good restaurants, bars etc close by. Recommend the Rocks tour. more

Harbour Rocks indeed is an ideal location to explore Sydney and the historic Rocks precinct. I am glad to see our guests exploring the 'old' laneways surrounding the hotel. We recently added a modern movie system and Internet to all guest rooms.

Great location. It was a very easy walk to opera house, ferries, trains and hop on/hop off bus stop. We stayed a full week. There was no noise on weeknights and just a little on Friday and Saturday. It wasn’t enough to bother us. But if you are a light sleeper and get an unlucky room position, I could see... more

We stayed at the Harbour Rocks one night but it was great. We were within walking distance to everything that we wanted to see. The hotel is nice, rooms were on the small size, but clean. There is no elevator but there is a luggage elevator. Cannot beat the location. We would definately stay here again. more

Spend 3 days here in January and loved the area. The hotel was pleasant, the room clean, good A/C and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. We had an ordinary meal one evening but no complaints about anything. The staff professional, and the lack of a lift was no problem. Close to all the local attractions and would not hesitate to... more

We chose the Harbour Rocks Hotel as we have always wanted to stay in 'The Rocks' to experience and observe some of our colonial history. The hotel is central to all you would want to do and see in Sydney during a short stay. The Opera House is only a short walk as is the Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay.... more

Second time in Harbour Rocks - this time to welcome in 2009 in Sydney Harbour. We had a top floor Harbour View room - larger than the last room we stayed in - with a great view over to the Opera House. Usual comments on this hotel still apply with high priced rooms for the facilities you get. HOWEVER if... more

What a quaint hotel! Only downside is that there is not much signane out the front - when driving past I missed it a couple of times! Friendly reception staff, the afternoon girl was a little abrupt, but the duty manager was quite lovely. Our room was a heritage room, and honsetly I was expecting a dingy little bathroom, but... more

My fiance had been given a gift voucher by his ex-employer for a night in a Harbour View Room at the Hotel. When we arrived on the day they told us that our Harbour View Room had been given away. We were given no explanation about why our room had been given away. When we asked why no one from... more
