We booked 2 months in advance and the rooms we booked where not available. When they finally re-arranged some rooms, we got up to the room and it was like a matchbox. Smoking rooms have no ventilation. Service was appalling. more

Stayed at the Ibis for a conference. The conference centre is just a short walk away, the monorail is close, so too is the casino, maritime museum and Lyric Theatre. I stayed at the IBIS Darling Harbour for a Conference in August 2009. The price of the room was $179 for a Darling Harbour view and this can have been the only reason for paying so much. The rooms are incredibly small with no adequate storage space, the only cupboard being a piece of wood in the corner with hangers... more
