We arrived early and our rooms were ready at 12:30. We had an executive residence on the 6th floor, two seperate units with an outside door for the two apartments. Very spacious with all the facilities, providing some privacy and perfect for families travelling with teenagers. Clean and neat. Apartments are well equipped with all the amenities, dishwasher, washing machine,... more

We stayed here over easter for 5 days and found the location very convenient. Close to everything. Check in was smooth with polite staff. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the 7th floor. Kitchen and bedroom were clean on first impression, but the bathroom was not clean at all, and it was old dirt. The shower was moldy... more

We stayed at Somersat Apartments over Easter. The location was great , walking distance to Cockle Bay Wharf, China Town, Paddys market and CBD . The foyer was modern and the staff friendly , check in was very fast and efficient. Our Executive Suite was pretty good, slightly dated but clean and satisfactory. The only comment I have is that... more

I stayed recently at this hotel. The hotel foyer looks modern. The front desk person Jason was very pleasant and helpful. We ended up staying at room 1408. This room was a premiere room and had a spa. The overall look of the room was nice. Modern amenties, and furnishings. The balcony was not quite a balcony. It was so... more

we spent 2 nights here and wish it was more. Great location, super views, quiet, and staff were excellent. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was starting to get a bit tired decor wise, but it was well appointed. We went to the top floor for a swim and sauna, this def needs some attention..pretty dated and just lacking... more

I went to Sydney for a work and requested an apartment with some space and a desk and preferably, wirless internet I arrived to the Somerset (after missing it twice) and parked down Druit Lane where the sign said 'Guest Parking'. It was shut. I rang the reception and they told me there that the car park was full and... more

I stayed here 5 nights in July, 2007 and would highly recommend the Somerset. The desk service was quite helpful - not sure what others are writing about. I stayed in a premium queen which was MUCH nicer than the deluxe room (which a friend was staying in.). Do ask for high speed internet, which is not available in all... more

We were coming to Sydney for a vital professional exam, so needed a quiet, clean room I could sleep and study in, with responsive staff in case of any problems. I am glad to say we got it at the Somerset. As it was low season, we got a good rate on a corner room with a view from the... more
