I found this hotel far formal, the staff way to stuffy to the point often with the younger staff being so stiff as not to feel willing to be helpfut - perhaps they took their training too seriously. I would not stay here again, but I prefer the Observatory, but for business to impress clients, may be just right. more

On one side is the Sydney Opera and the other side is the Sydney Bridge. In between is all water and quay area and there lies the Park Hyatt. Rocks area is just 5 minutes walk. Central downtown area is 10 minutes walk. The hotel is an absoulte luxury in terms of room quality, food, service and the accessories supplied.... more

Thank you to the author for your review. I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our 'Mansion by the Harbour.' Our position right on the waters edge allows us to enjoy some of the best views of the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour and the City. A short stroll is also very easy to most of...

Amazing location. The rest is average. Food is just OK. I got the strong sense that the staff were just going through the motions. A pity. more

If you want a view of the opera house and sydney harbor bridge, there is no better place to stay than the park hyatt. Within walking distance from both attractions. nice modern rooms, expensive but worth the view and setting. more

Thank you to the author for your review. I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our fantastic location right in the heart of The Rocks. This is a hotel with large rooms and a great view, but I can't see the value of the $625 asking price. If I was to stay again, I'd only pay $300 max. There just aren't enough bells and whistles to justify the hotel's room rate. One major downside is the TV reception is the worst I've ever seen. Zoomed... more

I recently stayed at the Park Hyatt Sydney, and what separates this hotel from any other in Sydney is the service. I’ve stayed at the Four Season and Shangri La in Sydney for business on many occasions, however for a long weekend, I travelled with my wife for her birthday and wanted the best. And the best is what I... more

We had a very nice 1 night stay at the Park Hyatt - for our wedding night - but I'm not sure that we would have thought it was worth the money if we were paying for it directly (it came as part of our wedding reception package). We were given a City Harbour View room (I think this is... more

I felt compelled to write this because I use Tripadvisor a lot to research where to stay next, and always trying to filter negative from the positives. I could not believe the amount of positive response for this hotel. This hotel is touted to be one of our best and maybe it is but comeon everyone what are you seriously... more

We stayed here over the easter weeked, a break from Sofitel where I usually stay. Likes - Very polite, genuine and friendly staff; definitely the highlight of the hotel - Excellent view and location; hard to fault looking at the Opera House every time you look out the window and right down at the Rocks so easy to get around.... more
