The hotel has a great location, and i think they should advertise it more as it only a 10 minute walk to Darling harbour, 20 minutes to Circular Quay, and take a right out of the hotel and within 10 minutes or so there is a great selection of restaurants and bars. You can walk everywhere and it is really... More

The only thing going for this hotel is the location and price. Step out the door and you're right in the middle of Sydney shops DJs 5 minutes walk away. The rooms are small and the blanket on the bed looked old. We asked for an upgrade to a queen bed but the bed looked like a double. The bathroom... More

This hotel is great value for the money in the city centre. We just loved the old fashioned charm of the place. Room was small but adequate, could have done with a chest of drawers as we had no drawer space, otherwise, no complaints at all. Staff were nice and friendly and food was very good in the restaurant. Everywhere... More

I stayed here with my mother for 2 nights. For the price the hotel is great. The bathroom and room was clean. Nothing fancy. Simple small room with tiny window, no view. But we weren't in the room for that much anyway so didnt really have any issues. You couldnt ask for a better location. Right next to the shops... More

This hotel is great value in the heart of Sydney. There are a few problems with the place - mainly due to things wearing out. While we were there the aircon stopped but they offered us another room. We didn't bother cause it was not too hot but otherwise this could have been a problem. The people on the desk... More

Do yourself a favour and stay ANYWHERE except here. (Park bench could be more comfortable!!) The rooms are FILTHY and small, I was prepared to make do here and used tissues to pick the long black hairs off the bedding and out of the shower recess, I also tried to ignore the stained bedding, however, the airconditioning didnt work and... The location is good, but try getting a taxi driver to know where it is. Not really a boutique hotel in the sense of style or theme you would expect. Unless the building's primary purpose as headquarters to the Masonic Society is a theme. It's really more of a budget hotel. Service was efficient but without any friendliness. Yes the... More

I chose this hotel because of its central location and value for money. You can easily walk to the Rocks/Opera House area as well as go in the other direction to Darling Harbour/Chinatown.The rooms have everthing you need, nothing too fancy. More

Advantage of staying in this hotel: Location ! But there were not many easy restaurants that you can walk by and eat. Right behind the hotel is the mall where the food court has good options. But we walked to the Quay and caught our ride to Manly Beach. You can walk up to the wharf in about 10-15 mins.... More

My girlfriend and I flew in from Hong Kong so were tired upon arrival, but had a week stay to catch up on sleep. Unfortunately, the first room had that didn't close and a busy building site next door, so had to take an elevator ride to reception. Given a new room which we slept in for a couple of... More
