Contrary to some previous reviews (probably sour grapes) there were absolutely no bugs in our apartment at Harbourside/McMahon's Point. The place was spotless and very comfortable, and I have never seen a cleaner fridge. But the best thing is looking out over the harbour, and seeing the ferries come to and fro - from your bed! We like to stay in apartments when travelling with our two children aged 2 and 1 so we can cook for ourselves. We stayed on the 16th floor and had fabulous views of the harbour and the bridge. We were able to see the ferry coming across to our ferry stop (right outside) and then rush down to greet it.... more

We loved staying at the Harbourside Apartments. Ferry right outside the door and lovely views of magnificent Sydney Harbour. I stayed here on business and found it was adequate. I prefer to stay in apartments when I'm away for work as it allows you the freedom to cook yourself. We booked a "Lavender Bay" view apartment as all of the Harbour view apartments were fuly booked. Paid a reasonable price considering the location and facilities. Walk out the front door of the hotel and there is the Sydney Habour Bridge and Opera House across uninterupted views of the Bridge, Opera House and Sydney CBD.
