i stayed at the Vulcan hotel on a Thursday and Friday as i was in sydney for business meetings. The Superior room i got was very modern, well furnished for my perposes and also had wireless internet in the rooms. Not so young traveller.... Scarborough England. I arrived late in the evening after a very long day, the night porter booked me into my room very quickly, which was very clean and tidy. Simple Hotel, all you need when you're 10-15 minutes walk from Darling Harbour. Gather building work in 2006 caused bad reviews. Helpful staff and Carole, the owner, was particularly friendly to everyone. Only fault to find, the sheets should have been changed at shorter intervals. more
