Friend and I stayed here for a long weekend and it was fine. The location was exceptional, close to train station, could see a great view of the harbour bridge outside, was near yummy restaurants, clubs, you name it. hi i stayed at challis lodge for 3 nights in december 2012, apart from being local to harbour and opera house, place was disgusting carpets thread bare, smelt realy muskey and damp, room crap toilets and shower had to walk down steps and along landing toilet just big enough to get in and close the door, and floor soaking wet...
