The Australian Sunrise Lodge is an extremely odd place. The hostel itself is a bit dingy with a tiny kitchen and no laundry, but is fairly clean and otherwise ok. The guests say were disappointed when they first got out of the taxi and saw our hotel. Its inevitable that some guests will not like our "bohemian" location in the arts centre of Newtown, and our street-front reception entrance. Thats totally OK with us and we understand this issue.
