Stayed one night in a one bedroom apartment (938). The apartment was a really good size, very comfortable bed, good sitting area with lovely view of the city and Darling Harbour. I think the hotel has charm the way it has been converted and the location near Darling Harbour the fish markets etc is excellent. If you were staying for... more

I stayed at oaks goldsbrough a while ago and the staff were so rude and unfriendly. The rooms were quite nice but the aisles going to the room looked like a cheap ship and anytime someone would walk through (no matter how far away they were from our room or even what level they were on!) we could hear them... more

Work booked us in to this hotel, and after reading the reviews was worried. However, it was actually quite good. The staff were generally helpful, my 1 bedroom apt was very nice, the kitchen in particular was like a normal home kitchen. I like the way they've adapted the old wool store, hugely high ceilings. I was over the back... more

They claimed to run a 4 place but it was so rough inside and the staff so unhelpful. We had to switch rooms as our airconditioning did not work and we got 3 different replies and the high chair that was requested did not materaliase. I would saw overpriced, lousy and the baby cot that they sent originally to us... more

I stayed here for three weeks with my two young children and a friend. The staff did not help me when they saw me struggling with my luggage and I had to get the luggage trolley myself even though I had my hands full. The hotel states that they have a concierge and even has it on the front door... more

I don't often write reviews, but this experience was so shattering that I just had to warn people. This hotel is nothing more than an upgraded backpackers with a 4* price tag - it claims a good location, which is true. The rest of the claims on the website are nothing more than trick photography. The "renovations" were no doubt... more

My wife and I and our two teenage sons stayed here for four nights. Is brilliantly located next to Darling Harbor. Rooms are ok although a little dated. During one night a load of young people attended and partied pretty hard. Kept us awake. The hotel kicked them all out the next day I was told. We found the front... more

This place is awful. It's location is OK but not great, the apartments are small and the decor is old and dirty. The bathrooms are horrible - small, old, dirty. Our bed wasn't even made properly and we had to do it ourselves. Not only that, but the walls and ceilings are all very thin and you can here everything... more

Was slightly concerned after reading some of the reviews here but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were fine, although we only had contact with them on arrival and departure (there is a side door with card access that offers a shortcut to the harbour area so you can bypass reception) The apartment we had looked as though it had been... more
