My wife and I often stay at the lawson while in Wagga .The rooms are always clean and it would have to be the quietest motel we have stayed in ,considering it is only 5 minutes walk to the main street.Nice big bathrooms and very clean. We always book an upstairs Riverview room ,nice to relax on a hot afternoon and... I have stayed at the Lawson Motor Inn, when I travelled to university from Central West NSW. I found the staff wonderfull & informative - even gave me a map of Wagga Wagga for shopping & getting around, which made the stay in Wagga Wagga, stress free to start off with. The location is great, not to far to walk to... My husband and I stayed just the one night during a driving trip down to Victoria. We were really impressed with this motel. Our room was not like the usual motel room. There was a kitchen area with a larger than normal fridge and uncluttered by expensive minibar items which left us plenty of space for fruit etc. The bathroom... More

New motor inn close to the Main Street. Rooms are large, clean and very comfortable with quality fixtures. Mattress was good and was pleased to see a decent branded tv in a room for once. Well worth the money, will stay again.

Wagga Wagga was our first stop of a holiday and we could not have picked a better place than this one. An eight minute walk to the shopping and eating precinct. Plenty to see and do whilst you are here. We got a Riverside upgrade which gave us views of the Murrumbidgee River which was beautiful at sunrise and sunset.... More

We stayed at Lawson Motor Inn for our godsons March out from Kapooka, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was lovely, the gardens and surrounds so beautifully laid out, and to be able to go out the back door and walk along the river - such a delight. Thanks to the staff, friendly and helpful.

What a great place to stay. The Lawson is in a terrific location, situated on the river and walking distance from the main drag. Upon arrival the place looks and feels inviting. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean, large, well appointed, comfortable and quiet. It is also great to relax in the event of any downtime. My... More

My husband and I travelled to Wagga and Junee and stayed here for two nights. I booked the executive room with an upstairs room overlooking the Murrumbidgee River. I booked this room because of the balcony and because of the reviews. We weren't disappointed, the front desk was friendly and enthusiastic. The room was so clean and that I went... More

This is a really great place to stay. I love the great attitude at the front desk. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfy and well equipped as well as spacious. At the price which is very reasonable....hard to beat. Shame it does not have a restaurant and no pool!! You can organise a breakfast pack at the front desk. This usually does... More

Had to do a quick trip to Wagga. Reviewed on Trip Advisor and booked. Very friendly, quick check in. Room was spacious and it was all very clean including the bathroom (my pet hate is mouldy smelly bathrooms). Well located near the town and the Wiradjuri walk on the river. Next time though would ask for an upstairs room which... More
