Got the hotel courtesy bus from the airport to the hotel, where I had to wait 15 mins to be seen at checkin as there was only one member of staff on duty and they were on the phone. This is a good value place to stay. Accomodation was in a detached log cabin with veranda. Already a plus for me...no noisy neighbours above, or next door. The hotel is 20mnts walk from town centre and the reception staff advises use of taxi after sunset hours (approx 8.5-10A$ one way). Stayed twice here in the same week for 2 nights. Chalets for 2 or 3 are quite comfortable and clean with basic cooking facilities, but are a little dated looking. Air con works well. its a 20-30 minute walk into town which is a lot in the heat, on the other hand it has a pool and lots of trees and shade,and downtown can get a bit noisy. All the tour buses stop here. Unless you are a glutton for punishment, I would not stay here. Besides the rooms being dumps, the grounds look much better on the website and in brochures than in reality.
