After a very disappointing night at Crowne Casino with old rooms and not much to do in the hotel, we decided to try Lasseters Hotel Casino which is only a few minute down the road. I stayed in a deluxe room with my partner and there were 2 queen size beds in the room with extra room to move around.... more

Upon arrival, no help was offered with our bags. You can't take kid's into the cafe as it is inside the gaming area of the casino. The only option outside of strict meal times in their restaurant. To access the restaurant with kids, you must walk outside the hotel and through the carpark because - you guessed it - you... more

I have stayed at a number of properties in Alice Springs over they years and feel Lasseters is one of the best. I stayed in a Deluxe Room which was very big. It contained 2 queen size beds and plenty of room to spare. There is a good sized pool with small and a small casino. The choice of restaurants... more

The rooms are very spread out - you walk outside but undercover to them. They are really motel standard - nothing like a hotel. Rooms service is available but only when the restaurant is open - i tried to order a hamburger at 2pm - got to the restaurant answering machine! When I wanted to sleep in the restaurant people... more

For the money we paid we thought we would be getting nicer accommodation. Our room was a very standard room, it did NOT have a luxurious feel to it at all. The shower head was too low - it only came down up to our neck, so we had to bend down to wet our hair (we are average height... more

We booked the Lasseters with every expecation that it would be more of a 'nicer' hotel. I think we just assumed that because the hotel had a casino attached that it would be slighty more upscale in order to attract more visitors. It was clean so there was no issue there, but the lobby STUNK! It smelled like old rancid... more

We stayed three nights here as part of an extended tour of Australia. Our room was excellent, on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the pool complex and with mountains in the background. Very comfortable beds. We ate in the Juicy Rump - huge portions, so two could easily share one serving - and could not fault the food.... more

I have just returned from staying at Lasseter's Hotel with my husband and 4 other family members. Unfortunately, a parcel of goods went missing from my room and the hotel staff took 3 days before they began any investigation. I was given my all sorts of excuses and after my chasing them up on a number of occasions they told... more

We were in Alice purely to see Uluru. Having read the reviews of Alice before going, we realised that there wasn’t an awful lot to do at night and therefore looked to stay in the Casino for a bit of nightlife. As it turned out, as far as we could see Lasseters was about the best looking and most modern... more

As other reviews mention this property is a bit out of town but that can be a booth a positive and a negative. I found the room rate to be very reasonable for this town. Rooms are furnished well but starting to look a little dated, the washroom was in dire need of renovation. Dinner at the juicy rump was... more
