We stayed here only for 1 night as part of our Honeymoon. We chose the hotel because it was one of the cheaper options out of a captive market of hotels around the Ayers Rock resort. The room was very comfortable and the hotel sent us a complementary bottle of fizz for our honeymoon. A lovely touch! I'd recommend this... more

Grossly overpriced, but no other cheaper options to see the Uluru. Our room smelled and my college dorm room was better furnished. The was a shuttle that ran pretty regularly over to the nicer hotels where more restaurants were. Uluru was nice, but hiking Kata Tjuta is a must. more

the whole place was great. three eating outlets with great prices and good food, an outback pub, the pool and gardens were beautiful, rooms were clean and big and it has everything you need there. the internet in the kiosk was a bit slow though more

Cheapest option at the resort, only one near Uluru. The room was clean and comfortable with a refrigerator and large television, but the electricity works only when the key is inserted in a special holder and only one key is provided, making it difficult if one person is in the room while another is not. All light switches were outside... more

The Voyages Ayers Rock is a wonderful resort which is located next to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Unfortunately the cheapest room with a private bathroom costs more than $150 a night and closely resembles a dorm room, complete with bunk beds. To make matters worse the price of everything at this resort is similarly priced. Continental breakfast buffet is... more

Face it: you're not trekking to the middle of nowhere to sleep. You're there for Uluru and perhaps Kata Tjuta and the landscape. Which is wonderful. The rest is just a necessary evil. So yes: the prices are incredible. And yes: they abuse their monopoly position to the fullest extent. But on the other hand, if you know this up... more

I am certain that the Voyages Ayers Rock Outback Pioneer Hotel delivers on what they say that they offer...by definition only. While we did receive a room, shower, and bathroom facilities, this place was just terrible! We stayed in the Cairns Hilton, a legitimate 4 star property for four nights prior to arriving and staying in Ayer Rock for less... more

The hotel is clean and part of a resort where you can find everything from supermarket to medical assistance. However the price you pay for the accomodation is too high. I can understand that you are in the middle of nowhere and there are no alternatives, but they take too much advantage of this. Apart from being over-priced, the resort... more

Let's face it, if you don't have your home on your back and time is limited, your choices are negligible. Having accepted that, if we wanted to stay close to The Rock we had to pay, we chose the cheapest option which was a single room without bathroom for the four of us at the Outback Lodge. We paid $280... more
