I stayed here for 2 nights with a friend in a superior room. The room was spacious and comfortable with modern fittings and a nice balcony with chairs overlooking the lovely grounds and pool. Double sinks in the bathroom was also nice! We ordered a very good and reasonably priced Thai curry from room service one night and enjoyed the... More

A very awesome experience. Clean hotel. Very close to Uluru. This was a very unique hotel in the middle of the Australian Outback. Would definitely stay at this hotel again and look forward to it sometime in the near future. The staff and the food there was great.

Our stay at Sails in the Desert was awesome. The room was clean, well thought out, beautiful balcony, and the king size bed was just luxurious! Every staff member we met was courteous, friendly and very helpful. We also visited the Outback bar Hotel, which was great for a drink, BBQ dinner And a chat with other visitors. Once again... More

It must be understood that Ayers rock is a very expensive place, and this is an expensive hotel. We were fully expecting to feel like an object in an overpriced sausage making machine, but were very pleasantly surprised. It started when pulling up. Our bags were efficiently whisked away, with the pleasant gentleman saying that he was sure we would... More

We arrived to find a chilled bottle of champagne in our room, what an unexpected surprise. The staff were very accommodating in helping us with tours etc. After we checked out we realised that we left our mobile charging in the bedside dock. When we returned the reception staff had already been informed that a mobile was left in our... More

We stayed at this hotel two nights whilst we explored the Rock. It was a fabulous oasis in the middle of the desert and a wonderful place to come back to after a hard day adventuring. Much more luxurious than I had expected! We had a room with a configuration with two double beds. The beds were extremely comfortable, particularly... More

Very nice modern rooms which cater for more than one person meaning they are spacious and have room for more than one suitcase and a double sink etc The walkways and entrances could be made much nicer. Restaurant lovely and free wifi in the lobby is fantastic.

This is a beautiful hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful, the township of Yulara a great place to exploreas well as the obvious attraction of the Rock. The only down side was the restaurant, food over priced, and somewhat ordinary, a club sandwich that had obviously been cut first thing in the morning wasn't what you'd expect. Nor was... More

A friend and I decided last minute to travel to Yulara to see Uluru on the long weekend in June. It was an amazing experience. The Sails is an outstanding resort. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed. The service was friendly and consistent. The pool was perfect for an early morning swim even though it was freezing out.... More
