We stayed here during a visit last year so not sure this review will mean much now but it might be useful to someone. As everyone has said the rooms/lodges are fantastic and I'd say it was one of the best we've stayed in, however we didn't care for the dining arrangements which meant that everyone ate together in the... more

We stayed there for 3 nights and after spending most of 2009 traveling, Longitude 131 is hands down the best luxury hotel we have stayed in. The service itself would have been enough, but the room! the room is magnificent. the view, the tours the people. they offer 2 or 3 night stays i would definitely recommend the 3 night... more

This is the only place to stay if you visit Ayers Rock. Beautiful lodge, extremely luxurious, amazing view, great food, very kind staff. Everything you could immagine is included, it worth the price you pay for staying there. more

We had one of the four rooms facing the rock which have the better view I think. What can be better than sitting up in bed, drinking a cup of coffee watching the sun rise over this wonderful sight? You can even have a shower and see the rock, such is the attention to detail. We found the staff, without... more

Great service. Outstanding food and beverages, most included in daily tariff. Staff very attentive and responsive to extra requests even at late notice. The view of Uluru is "it". It is what you want. The tours allow additional viewing in a variety of locations around Uluru. The tours also provide great information in an informal, pleasant manner. They surprise you... more

Longitude 131 certainly gets 5 out of 5 for location and uninterrupted views (but make sure you request rooms 12 - 15 for those), however staff service is shoddy, and a change of management teams would definitely benefit the hotel. When my husband and I arrived at Ayers Rock airport we had no one to meet us as the porter... more

What an amazing place. The price is outrageous but - somehow - you walk away feeling you've had value for money. The view from our "tent" was sensational - looking directly at Uluru - the food was exquisite and the tours were well constructed (e.g. a sunrise walking tour well away from everyone else). On top of that, the "exclusiveness"... more

The stunning views of Uluru alone make a stay at this hotel an unforgettable experience - but this a place that also scales the heights in service, food, comfort and hospitality. more

We arrived for a three night stay at Longitude 131 in July of 2008. We flew from Sydney which was about a three hour direct flight on Qantas. We were met at the airport by a very pleasant driver in a Toyota Land Cruiser. Transfer from the airport to the hotel was fine and without incident. We arrived in time... more

I agree with other posts that this is a spectacular place to stay. The "tents" are very luxurious & the food great. BUT Table 131 - dinner under the stars – can be a freezing cold experience at this time of year. (June) I think the overnight temperature was as low as 3.5C while we were there. I do not... more
