Spent 3 nights/4 days at the Resort. Apparently the properties are all owned by one group and cater to different types of travelers with varying budgets. All priced fairly high as there is nothing else in the area except for camper grounds. You are very much a captive audience. The hotel looks tired and is showing signs of aging. The... More

Ayres Rock was amazing. No matter how many pictures you see of it, it does not compare to actually being there. The staff at the hotel were friendly and attentive and the rock view from our room was impressive. We would most definitely stay there again, but for longer next time. Our overseas visitors were suitably impressed.

The staff and their helpfulness are by far the positives with this hotel particularly the bar staff who are at all times trying hard and succeeding to be professional. The building and surrounds are from a day gone by and have seen their best. The room was not to a high standard and can be best described as from a... More

We only stayed here for one night. Ayers Rock and the Olgas are must-see sights, but the accommodation choices are very limited and the Accor Group management has you over a barrel. The room we had was small and badly-lit with a big terrace overlooking a dingy courtyard – no view of the rock. The bed was small (supposedly queen-sized)... More

It's expensive any where in the resort. We took one of the rooms looking at the rock from our room. Booked some tours through the hotel. We where in a hurry and did not realize we could have gone to the town square and there is an area where all the tour companies are set up to serve you. Better... More

When we arrived at our rooms, they gave us a letter notifying us that because of some recent rains the bugs and animals in the area were more prevelent. Well that was an understatement! I was getting ready to go to bed when I noticed a large ant walking on the one bed. I tried to kill it and tried... More

Dear MrsMare Thank you for your review. It is wonderful to read that our staff were very accommodating and address your concerns in an efficient manner. I understand your frustration regarding the present insects in and around Ayers Rock Resort. We do live in an environment of extreme weather and this weather sometimes impacts the habits of our insects. Please... More

The reception area is very nice and the staff are helpful. Likewise the bar and restaurant look good (but see later comments). A real plus point is the plethora of free fresh cold water available. The grounds are well laid out and well maintained, but the rooms are distinctly tired and not very clean at all. The curtains haven't been... More

Well laid out hotel so that it is not a "blot on the landscape". Rooms were clean and everything you would expect for the price. Staff were extremely helpful. We stayed there 3 nights which gave us 2 full days to "do" Uluru and the Olga's - fine. No complaints at all. Just a word of warning all the accommodation... More

Nice hotel complex with low rise buildings containing rooms, great A/C, lush grounds and pool. Excellent restaurant. Good place to stay while at Uluru. There is a shopping area near by where water and food can be bought.
