The Golf Links Motel has been recently refurbished and changed it's name to 'Vitina' last week apparently. This place was better than the Alatai Apartments we had stayed in the week before. Were supposed to stay for five nights but only stayed one because our room was so bad. Had to put up with paying for two nights at peak rates for cancelling but we weren't staying no matter what. Fixtures were old and in poor repair. Bathroom was mouldy. Construction site near by starts work early each morning. The swimming pool had no water in it. The communal bar/recreation area was 1-star at best (think back packers). The only food available is via a vending machine. Balcony is tiny and overlooks road not Golf Course as is alluded to.... more

Tired 1960's style Motel. Stayed four nights (minimum we had to book). Bathroom was cramped - shower curtain had black mould on it - toilet cistern wouldn't shut down - water running all the time. Compared to other 3 star motels the Golf Links was nice and tidy and the management were very friendly and approachable.
